Well it has been over 2 years since moved to Cheshire now and boy has time flown by. Hardly blink and a month as zipped into a new one. Never the less keeping rather busy with work, consultations galore at the moment and odds and sods also. Also been to the manchester posse last saturday and tomorrow is the chester one at the harkers so def going to that.

Got a staff conference as well to attend tomorrow. second one with gwk cheshire and i think fourth one in total. hoping some old faces from Rossendale will be about though martin has left the company so he won't be about.

25th March 2009

Yes - a 3 day weekend, excellent. Been a busy week yet again, spent a day and half getting dirty. Now now, nothing rude please here, we are British. I am talking about gardening. Finally after several days work over the last month or two, the Rudheath Community Garden is virtually completed, just a few bits like the remaining flagging needs to be done and the tidying up of equipment and the spare bits of turf and wood we have used. But it is create t have such an impacted and involvement in the project. To think, the hard work you put in can make a difference and of course got to thank all those involved from Groundwork, Probation Services, Vale Royal BC, BTCV and the people at the Old Fire Station who volunteered their time to get it done. Of course Katherine who project managed the whole thing. I am sure she is breathing a sigh of relief and the near complission of this work. Well done.

Other than that, work has been not bad, keeping me busy. Me and mark been all over again. Spent the last weekend going round some of the old forts in Cheshire, Eddisbury, Kelsborough and Maiden Castle near Bickerton, before getting some proper ice-cream made on the farm that actually make it and sales it to the general public. Excellent day that was.

Finally Birthday tomorrow, 32, what the hell, how did that come round so fast. Eeek, time does fly. Well photos to soon follow.

21st March 2009

Another week over with and bit of a week I have to say. As it end of year heading quickly towards us at work, everyone has been a bit manic trying to get everything sorted for year end. Of course here in Cheshire also looming is the change of councils from 6 Borough's to 2 Unitary Authorities.

Oh boring, yep, so anyway, for me, busy week all the same. Another enjoyable driving lesson, bit of a mess up in regards to Youth Workshops and Artist being late, but all sorted, so weekend sort of on a low bit. Weekend has been very good. Went to the Manchester Posse around midday and had a nice drink with friends and the other people who attend the posse too. Mark, myself and our friends Dominic and Edward headed to the Chetwood Arms for a drink and ended up at the Cock O Budworth for a meal near Great Budworth. So Saturday has been an enjoyable day out, chill down now for a bit and watch Prince Caspian I think. Tomorrow day out I hope to visit someone local, but get some more driving in.

Two new vids that I liked on Youtube

16th March 2009

Well I will back date stuff and fill things in from January 2009, but at the moment starting here so beware what might turn up in this thing lol

So far 2009 has been quite god really. Shit weather which is the downer, but for me, the driving is going well. Ben at it since late December and packed in a ton of hours using the Arosa as well so my fingers are crossed when the test comes I'll pass and can really get going on the whole driving thing. journey here and all over really. can take Mark places which be good after 2 years of him taking em places, we can share the driving.

The next thing to look at is a holiday, try and escape for a bit to some where warm and sunny, relax, get a tan and stop being so pasty white but also visit somewhere new as well. Seems an age since went to Zante with Louise and her family, so me thinks time to get sorted on this. Kefalonia sounds like a decent place to visit.

We will see what happens. Work going well. Did a few more art workshop with th youth groups so nearly finished that part of the project. If we can secure the CIN money then we can rung the project n for another 3 years which would be good.

Updates to follow...
